Due to significant travel restrictions adopted by organizations and with so much uncertainty, we have regrettably made the decision to cancel this year’s 2020 LA Galaxy Cup Tournament. Please know that this decision was not made lightly, and we are very disappointed that the tournament will not take place this year. However, these are extraordinary times and our priority is the health and wellness of our community. We appreciate your understanding and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We are looking into the possibility of rescheduling the event to a later date this year, and if this is an option, we will be in touch soon. Otherwise, we look forward to hosting the LA Galaxy Cup in 2021.

The LA Galaxy Cup was created to offer a premier competition for Development Academy teams. We will be inviting some of the most renowned clubs from around the world to increase competition and provide a unique playing experience for each participating team.

The club competition will provide an elite competition through a selection process from our competition committee to assure the highest level of play for teams and players. The OC Great Park is a state of the art facility. There are 25 soccer fields, including a 5,000 seat soccer specific stadium, all in one location. The OC Great Park allows the opportunity to host a tournament at one location, which offers beautiful fields for competition and provides a wonderful playing and viewing experience for everyone involved.

This is a Stay to Play Tournament. In order to participate in this event it is required that all teams that are traveling reserve their hotel accommodations through Road Rebel. We will be verifying your team registration matches the hotel reservations. Click here for approved hotels.

The LA Galaxy Cup will accept applications from USSF, USYSA and international FIFA affiliated clubs. The committee reserves the right to not select any team whose actions or behavior is deemed not to be in the best interest of youth soccer.

Applications are required to be submitted online through our registration system (link below). The application must be complete in its entirety. International clubs must provide English speaking contact. The information provided on the application will be used as one of the determining factors in the decision process by the selection committee.

LA Galaxy Cup must receive Credit Card payment along with the application in order to activate processing in our system.  There will be a 3.2% Credit Card processing fee. In order for teams to be accepted in the tournament, payment must be made during the registration process. Payment of the entry fee does not indicate acceptance of the team. All teams not accepted into the tournament will receive a refund in the amount paid by the club for the entry fee. The entry fee will be forfeited if a team has accepted the invitation and subsequently withdraws for any reason. The selection of teams and official invitation notifications via email will begin in early January 2020.

All participating players are required to have medical insurance that provides coverage for injury and/or illness. International teams will be required to provide proof of valid insurance in the USA and required to complete the LA Galaxy Cup Medical Liability release form for each player.
